My first thought on what to do was a memory of my grandfather and I fishing. I was an adult and we were fishing--he was always watching my bobber to see if I had a fish. I knew this and I would look off away from my bobber and tug on my line. It made it look like I was getting a bite. Then he would ask if I was going to haul in the fish on my line and I would assure him I didn't have one. This would go on for a few minutes--me tugging and him nagging--and then I would pull in my line to show him that my bait hadn't been touched. We had fun. I wish I were a artist as this it the memory I would want to depict in cloth.

Guess, I better get the thinking cap on.

Hey Wendy, I didn't know that you had made that hat you wore to the wedding. I am truly impressed. Well done.

Having just returned from vacation and finally understanding the Chinese Whispers, I think I might have an idea for this challenge. It will definitely be a challenge to get it done in time.

Robyn and Lois, how is the healing going?

Me again!. Now that I've backed out I just found a small UFO that fits the theme - "Yesterday a …" I won't/can't/not allowed to tell you the rest. I am in again!

Just so you know, I am way, way behind on this Challenge. Although I have been able to continue to do some sewing the broken elbow has gotten me a bit off course for new projects. I may just be watching this all unfold.

I'm just delighted that I know what I will be doing, and have the fabric sorted...

I've been a bit slack and not started my 'yesterday' quilt yet but we've got 3 weeks and it's only small

So, I guess we have to make it in one day, since the previous day is 'yesterday"?

Thanks for the chuckle, Terrie! And, your wedding quilt is great!

Wendy, I love your birch tree art quilt! The simplicity of it is stunning!

Well, Susan and Wendy, since you put it that way. . . . . . . it makes me laugh! I'll give it a try and see what I can come up with.
