So, to clarify, (for me) - the theme is 'Christmas', the size is 8x11 inches and the reveal is 1st November? It's a good size for a mini Christmas wall hanging I suppose.

Lorna, I got side-tracked this week and made three small zipper pouch/purses for the craic! And I decided that I was going to make one for each of my nieces and nephews and put a little cash inside as their Christmas gift. I learned how to do it from a free Craftsy class. The finished size of the pouch/purse is approximately 10x6, perfect for holding pens, rotary cutters, glue pens, chalk pencils and even a small ruler. In other words perfect for taking to a quilting class or retreat. Each one took about half an hour to make - choosing the fabrics took longer.

Terrie it's a quilt but if you have large mugs it could be a mug rug. Post pictures of the things you make for Christmas it'll be inspiration for us all.

I'm just setting out making a herd of mice as gifts for my team when I leave in the new year :D That's about 30

That would be an idea for yours Lorna :D

I found a Christmas quilty thingy on my work table today whilst I was clearing it :D Now all I have to do is try and find the fabrics that go with it so that I can finish the darn thing  Hey ho!

So, is it to be a quilt or a quilted thingy - like a potholder or mug rug, like Lois suggested?
I might be in. Would be great to get some Christmas things going.

Did you specify orientation? Does it matter?

On the last page Lois asked for a Christmas gift theme to be done for Nov 1st. That sounds good to me, you can interpret it how you like. Is that ok with everyone? :D

Same rules as before and talk about anything but what you're making until 1st Nov. Shall we have an extra rule that you can do as many entries as you like seeing as Lois is on a roll
