I think Jan 1. Sounds great. Or it could be Dec 31, and we could all show up for a New Year's Eve party.

Very nice Rosemary - and useful too!

So are we going with Selfies? And if so what's the deadline Wendy? Is it December 1st? That's 2 months just about which is what the last two were I think?

Not quite the same plan as the CW challenge, but we could make 2015 as the year of the quilted birthday cards?

Couldn't find the piece I planned on finishing......

but I did make this instead :D

A pouch for my tablet to travel in. Earlier this year I decided to do a variation on Bonnie Hunter's crumb piecing and cut myself a load of scrap paper into 2.5" strips and started to cover them with scraps from my dedicated scrap box (after organising said scrap box - you know, put all the scraps in one place instead of lots of separate ones  ) Then last week I decided that I actually wanted to make something for the fun of it (I have been remarkably unproductive this summer) The inside is a piece cut from a workshop fmq sample/scrap and the outside is strips of crumbs. I am vaguely considering adding some clamshell hand quilting, which could get interesting trying to do, but don't hold me to it

The blue and green pieces are knitted and were meant to be a scarf and shawl. So, I didn't want them to be stiff. The snowflakes are crocheted and are stiff so they can hang on a Christmas tree without wilting.

Ritzy, I am sorry your projects didn't turn out to your satisfaction. How were they intended to be used? The snowflakes are lovely. Are they crocheted or tated? My mother did some crochet work and often used starch when she blocked the work. Maybe you don't want the finished product to be stiff.

Ritzy, They are beautiful. Wouldn't they be used kinda scrunched up, anyways, so who cares (except you) that they de-blocked?

I love the snow flakes, oh, and you can tat? Wow-eee!
