Don't get too excited yet Wendy, I have spent the evening trying to get my machine to play nicely but it just keeps skipping stitches when I am in free motion - it's fine when I put back on the walking foot. I might have to take it to the day spa to get it in the mood. And I will be away for a week from Monday so it's still going to take a while before it is winging it's way across the Irish Sea. (The leprechauns are coming with me Lois )

I'm packing for Houston now, ready to fly out tomorrow. Don't know if I'll have wireless (I'm too cheap to pay for it), so might be out of touch until I get back. Maybe you'll be done quilting by then!!!

Time for an update? Okay, I have got the quilt top finished and I have just batted it and I am ready to quilt. But fear is making me think of lots of other things I need to do right now (like give you all an update on how it's going ). Wendy, it's time to start quaking in your wellies right about now - although it is going to take me a while to get it all quilted. It is incredibly wet and windy here in Ireland - apparently we are expecting a big storm tomorrow but the wind would already knock you off your feet. Hope you are all warm and cosy and quilting something interesting?

Yah-Hoo! I've escaped! It appears that my school (that was) is having a teacher's training day tomorrow, so the children & midday staff don't go in.
