Plodding along on my project...more or less. The question is, can I get what is in my brain translated into fabric? So I am trying out different things.
I had made reservations for the whole Loch Lomond quilt show at the same hotel that Wendy had. I think it was a Premier Inn. Unfortunately that same week is another inspection. This is the Air Force IG's (Inspector General) office coming this time. It's a military inspection instead of the civilian accreditation survey we had in November. And it is an inspection of the whole base, not just the hospital. The focus is more on military aspects of what we do.
All this means that I will not be able to come to the quilt show for the whole time now. (Where is the little crying face when you need it.) I will find my reservation and share the details. Since I booked early and paid in advance I got good rates. It would be great if someone could use the room. I am pretty sure it was a nonrefundable type thing.
I am still going to try to come up on the Friday night and then leave on Sunday. Fortunately Glasgow is right there to fly into. I'll rent a car and should be able to see most things in the two days. (Hopefully) Then I can still bring home all the quilts that will get mailed back to the USA. But no guarantees if I'll make it.
So bummed.

I would imagine that Maureen doesn't know which end of her is up by now with all those Chinese Whispers quilts and their statements, not to mention all the other things she has to do for LLQS. But look on the bright side Maureen, you have gained a month!

Well that month flew past quick. Anyone notice the date on the newsletter
Yes, I thought the same thing - where on earth did February go to. When you get to my age time really flies by
I hope February hasn't gone already or I have missed my b'day - and we are planning on going to the Rebel Smokehouse in Beverley for it, which I am really looking forward to. There are some great posters on the walls like 'No smoking in here unless you have 4 trotters' and 'Did I just roll my eyes out aloud?'
