Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch is a good place to look for canoeing. This is right on the loch.

I can give you good directions how to get there as it is very easy to get to from your hotel.

I've offered to do a half day stewarding.

If I set off at crack of dawn we can get there to see some of the shows on Thursday, then if I steward Friday morning and look at quilts after that then head off for a look at the loch and pretty scenery and be back in the evening to meet the others and do whatever then we have Saturday for rest of the show. Or can do something completely different if you want? It'll be good to see the whisper quilts with the others.

What are you planning Rita and Laura? do you need collecting from the airport. We have wheels, small ones.

The furthest north I've got to in this country (sic) is Edinburgh, for a wedding over 15 years ago. So I would love to have a look around - if we can check out canoeing facilities for DH that would be a bonus

So show tickets for Thurs, Fri, Sat; Thurs night buffet & probably Friday's ceilidh. Sounds good to me.

I did however find out a bit about this years show.
