Sorry, brain dead at the moment What was my name again I should have known that Wendy would be the first one in asking questions Yes, she allowed me a tiny, tiny peek after lunch and all I can say is the first one and the last one have no bearing on each other at all. Mind you, going through the 100 words from other groups, they are the same. Of course that is the nature of the challenge. It is going to be terrific to see them all. At the moment we are thinking of putting up 4 large photos in a square in the middle of a church hall and all the 22 groups radiating from that. But of course that could change before the show.
We are still waiting on all the information about the exhibitions but we are not getting them so Isabel will have chase people up. The same for the workshops. One (I think on the Friday) is 'Can't Resist' with Edwina MacKinnon which is a flour resist and I think some dying workshop. The other one is a local quilter (who stepped in at the last minute when we were let down by a tutor). On Wednesday she will be doing a half day class on hand making accessories for sewing. Hopefully these will be on the web site soon.
I am really looking forward to meeting the ones that are coming for the LLQS. It will be great to meet them in person.

Maureen, Wasn't it something about your daughter taking you out to dinner/lunch and you thinking that afterward you might get a peek at you know what? Well?

That's wonderful news Maureen. Well done everybody. I found 100 words was not nearly enough to express my thoughts on making this quilt. I am still hopeful that I will be able to make it to Loch Lomond - actually I was all set to start booking flights and accommodation this morning and then something came in this afternoon that just might scupper the plans. DH was even planning a trip to Iona. Fingers crossed we can make it.

Whew!!! I seem to recall that Lorna mentioned starting hers and that 100 words did not seem like enough. I am sure she is just putting the finishing touches on it. Wow! We did it! Amazing!

Congratulations to you all. It is amazing how quickly the time has gone. I enjoyed following along on your journey. I am anxious to see the finished collection. You should all feel very proud.
