Limbania would like to start her quilt earlier than suggested. So if we change the order to: -

2. – rehak
3. – Limbania
4. - idaho
5. – Renata
6. – loise98

Will that be suitable for everyone or has anyone got a problem with the new order?

Maureen....Nancy and I agreed to change places....making me Marilyn #2 and Nancy #4 .

I've already told my husband where I'll be in 2014 :D Wow think how great that would be if we all met up, just need to tell my son not to arrange the wedding for that month.

I'm not sure if I am out of my comfort zone or not :? Personally I am tending towards traditional piecing styles, rather than pictorial applique, but it all depends on whether I can 'see' somthing that fits or not - and If I can't 'see' it, it has always been a right struggle, 'back in the day' when I was working on my City & Guilds embroidery exam.

So 2014 Loch Lomond - Dh has been threatening a holiday in Scotland for years now

I am out of my comfort zone as well - it looks like the majority is so that will probably mean a really exciting group exhibition. At the moment there are 22 groups applied but maybe some will fall by the wayside, but it is going to be a terrific exhibition. Definitely a ‘wow, wow’ one

Rosemary, what do you mean, your husband has been threatening a holiday in Scotland – it is beautiful country.   Is your husband’s background not Scottish :?: :?: :?:

Totally agree with you, Rita, it is wonderful; that is why, despite the comfort zone bit, I am totally ready to jump in--we're all in this together and we will all do our part with great joy .That is a good feeling! :D And why not, maybe we will all be able to meet up in Scotland!

Okay, so hands up anybody who is intheir comfort zone with this one :?: Not me, that's for sure. But isn't it wonderful all the same? I think a trip to Scotland might be in order for 2014 - I really want to see what everybody else does for this challenge. :D

Thanks everybody for swaping places. The way it was before would've make it really hard for me since it fell in a time frame that my family ( that I haven't seen in over 3 years) will be comming to Arizona from México. :D :D :D

This is a first for me too and way beyond my comfort zone  but, it's also really exciting to work with you all, that have become like family to me. Been around you has helped me to get doing, instead of just wishing to do and accumulating fabric because is pretty and some day I'll make something with it

So looking forward to get started in this great adventure. The anticipation of seen the end result is just an amazing feeling, like staying wide awake on Christmas Eve waiting to see what Santa will bring the next morning

No problem!! Enjoy your (other) family!!

I've been quiet for the past few days because I was in New York :D but stayed in touch with Maureen. I am so excited to be participating in the Chinese Whispers challenge with such a wonderful group of quilters whom I have come to love and respect (I probably would not have stuck with quilting if it hadn't been for your support and help when I was first trying to figure out whether quilting was for me). I am certainly out of my league here but hope my enthusiasm and attention to detail will make up for my lack of experience. I, too, am flexible in my schedule so if there is need for any changes--just let me know.

Thank you for letting me be a part of this! :D :D :D
