Won't hear from Maureen for a bit she's scratching her head. No she's reached for the pencil and paper, I can hear the cogs going. She's dying to tell us about it. :D

I needed to starch fabric and wait for it to dry so I had play time this afternoon. I am having fun with #1000100.

You're going to have to teach me how to make a label. I embroider mine and it'll take more than 6 weeks to get you lot on.

You might have to start now on the label so you're done on time...

Wendy, have a look at Margo's lesson on quick labels in the classroom. It might help. :D

I really like the idea of putting all participants names on the quilt label.

Hey all,

I am in Texas this week for a conference. I have a bit of time for shopping today before catching my plane home this evening. DH will pick me up at Heathrow and then we are taking off this weekend for a holiday. Monday is Columbus day so we have a 3 day weekend. I might not have an opportunity to play the design game with quilt #100. But I will see if I can download the picture onto my laptop. It's not like I won't have hours and hours on the plane.

I'm good with however you want to do the labels. I may somehow also add the names/location of the other members of the group to record for posterity.

Woohoo! Maureen, glad to hear you have the photo. Let the games begin!!

Lorna,
in sunny San Antonio, enjoying Mexican food and Texas BBQ to my hearts content! (let's hear it for Rudy's BBQ!) It will definitely be diet time after I get home. Now off to a couple local quilt shops to stock up on needles and other supplies!!

Rosemary's suggestion works for me too, thanks Rosemary. :D And Maureen I will check page 1 before I begin to make my quilt. Oh so exciting. It's a beautiful Autumn morning here in Wicklow. I am taking my son to get braces top and bottom this morning. He is so excited about it! He will probably want them taken off by tomorrow. :?

Ditto! With Rosemary's creativity it sure will be a great label and we can just add our information. There can be a blank space to add the quilt name at a later time, maybe with a permanent fabric marker.

Just an  after finishing our quilt we can e-mail the person who sent as the inspiration quilt, ask the name, and write it or hand embroider it (if we are so inclined) in the label, before shipping it to Maureen.
