Don't know where to start, Wendy, because everything about this quilt is lovely, from Charlie with very expressive eyes, to beautiful choice of colors, Charlie's colors, the color of the window frame, the background fabric you chose, the echo quilting around Charlie that makes him look like he is turning around, the sailboat and the way it shadows the hill behind it... I could go on, and I can see why you would not want to let him go! Congratulations--it is just beautiful!

Charlie done. Apart from adding a hanger and sewing round the binding, I don't want to let him go now .

Thanks for your thoughts, I'm wishing I had done it as the background rather than as a picture on the wall behind the dog. Perhaps I can unstick Charlie and make a big boat background, I'm reluctant though because something will go wrong.
