First of all, welcome back Limbina. Missed you. I know its very good that we all have a life other than the one we share here in cyberspace with our quilting friends. Good to have you back. Good to know you have those very special people in your life that kept you so busy. Many of us are no longer taking care of young families and that makes a difference.

Wendy, Great job! You ended up telling the very same story you started out wanting to tell. You started wanting to tell the story in a more detailed realistic way and it just didn't work. In the end, I think the story is told in a much more powerful way. It's now poetry rather than prose. I wouldn't want to give it away either. I hope your friend would allow you to borrow it from time to time to show it. Others should see it. It is a very lovely memorial quilt. Well done!

Personally I think Charlie is saying 'Who, Me?' right after 'rescuing' somthing like a chicken or doughnut from the worktop.

Wendy your quilt turned out just great! I like how you solved all your problems and Charlie looks like he could walk right off of there.

Well done Wendy. It's a wonderful quilt. Charlie is so good. I hope your friend will be pleased - can't see why she wouldn't. :D

Limbania, it's great that you are back and well. Sounds like it was a very busy time. And with small kids Christmas is always hectic. :D

 I'm back  Sorry I disapeared for a while. It just seems out of a sudden things got kind of crazy and really busy around Halloween, all the way to Thanksgiving.  Between kids school activities. Some reorganizing and light remodeling of some things around the house. Getting ready for my VBF/almost like a sister and her family visiting for Thanksgiving from California, while also getting things set up (reservations, shuttle, tickets, etc.) for my sister and her family (4 kids and the parents) vacation to Disneyland/Vegas/Arizona in December-Christmas. Are you tired yet?

I took a couple of quick picks though but, I should've post a quick note to let you know I was still breathing. Thank you for your concern and I really appreciate Loise sending me an e-mail to check on me. :D

Marylin, I like the quilt you made from Loti's photo. I also read on another thread you're having issues with Big Bernie, hope it all gets resolved fast and hassle free. :D

Wendy, your Charlie quilt is absolutely gorgeous. I agree with everyone else, you're more than ready for the chinese whispers challenge. I also love your chook quilt. :D

Rita, your witch quilt is so stinking cute! :D

Ditto what everyone else said, he is wonderful, and the window works well too. And just think of the advantage you have over the rest of us for speed quilting now

I agree with everything Renata said as well. It is just beautiful Wendy, well done. I can understand why you don't want it to go. You will be having people queuing up for you to do pets portraits :) :)
