Got a wonderful delivery in my mail today. "The Quilt" is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s :!: :!: :!:

And this is a quilted bag I made a couple of years ago. Very sturdy and cute. Is expandable so, you can carry a little or a lot.

I thought to put the photo of a quilt to tease you a little  but decided to share this instead

Most definitely, crazy weather, it is! Until yesterday, for the last couple of weeks it was between 10f - 40f, that's below 0C and slightly above  People in the area were saying it hasn't been this cold (I know, is a matter of perspective but, anything below 70f is cold to me  ) since late 1970-somenthing. Starting to be back to "normal" finally!!! :)

Well, Maureen, we must be in Loch Lomond here because we are enjoying the same clear, sunny, yet bitterly cold weather as you. We were supposed to get some snow yesterday at around one in the afternoon, but it skipped us altogether and snow abounded 60 miles south of us. South of us? Yes, south! Go figure! Before you know it, we will be known as the temperate area and South Carolina, maybe even Florida will become snow country!

How crazy is this weather :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Up here near Loch Lomond in Scotland we are not having the snow. :) :) Up in the Scottish Highland and the East coast is where the snow is. We have had beautiful sunny weather for a few days now but it is bitterly bitterly cold. Just the right weather to stay in and sew. :D :D :D :D

It is really nice to see the sun and beautiful blue skies but roll on the summer when it is warmer.

I think we Irish are as bad if not worse. We have snow up here in the hills but downhill the flooding is pretty bad. We went to pick the kids up from school today and fortunately were in the jeep as we would not have made it in a low car. Many of the roads were like rivers. And it's still raining/sleeting/snowing now. Stay warm and safe. :D

Good fall here today and an exciting drive home from work. It's very hilly where I live and the roads weren't gritted so it was a bit hairy. I know we Brits are rubbish in snow. :D

Not here yet - actually it is sunny at the moment (11am) DH most upset that he had to go in to work today   The roads are currently clear, but it is still on the ground from Monday's fall, and still pretty.

Limbania, I feel your pain - anticipation is probably the worst part of this exchange. Good luck with it.

First snow fall here today, very slushy but staying on the ground. If it freezes tonight we will be in for some very slippery roads. Rosemary and Wendy, are you blanketed in snow yet? The news was that you were to expect a big dollop today?
