Looks beautiful Karen - as does the little one. :D

I am heading over to Galway tomorrow for a class with Pam Holland, so excited!

I hope you have a grand day. She's an amazing person. Obama named her Mother of the Year when he was first in office.

I am heading over to Galway tomorrow for a class with Pam Holland, so excited! I am really hoping that the organization of the festival is better than last year. I couldn't get a place in the Bonnie Hunter class because I could only make it tomorrow for the day and that class was sold out. :( I would have loved that, oh well, maybe some other time.

Another beautiful day here today. :D DH is cooking dinner on the barbeque as I type this. :D Here is a photo of one of the flowers on my yellow azalea.

:D :D you're welcome Renata.

Ohio sounds so exciting to visit, I'd love to see all these places that get dropped into conversations here. I might make Dingle one day, doesn't it sound magical. Belper sounds like indigestion
I don't know if it's so exciting but I live in Ohio and love it. We are actually on our family vacation in southern Ohio right now. Here's a picture from Hocking Hills State Park forest.

I never heard that phrase, Rita, but I remember Wendy...posting some pics long ago of the
area and thinking that it was..for me.. a storybook place in England ! The buildings, the countryside
and all !! :D The kind of thing I see in my mind when reading !! :D

You just made me go and look up Belper Wendy. I wonder does the expression to 'work like a nailer' come from there? It seems that there were over 500 nail makers working in Belper before the industrial revolution. Here's an interesting little video I found. Let's all move to Belper. :D

Thanks for the bread Wendy! :D Have not come up for air but occasionally and have missed a lot of the Forum over the past few weeks. Worked very hard on Chinese Whispers in order to take five days out to visit my Mom in Ohio since I'd missed her birthday earlier in the year. Just got back and am back to CW. I've received a few more gorgeous mug rugs last week before leaving and I will try to post them by the end of the week. When I got home, Wendy's mug rug was waiting for me and I can't help myself... I have to keep stroking it because it is so beautiful!!! Thank you Wendy and I will do my best to post soon.

Back to CW! :D :D :D

I'm glad you figured out what it is since I couldn't have helped you. Your garden is beautiful! My yard is completely natural and I leave everything as it is except that I've spent years pulling the big field of dandelions that was there when I moved in. I don't think they were natural for up here so felt okay with working my way through them. The odd thing that I have now is a wild raspberry plant that started up under the corner of the little deck leading to my front door. The stickers make it difficult to get through the bush and to my front door, but I think it's cool to eat the 3 or 4 berries that appear each year so I leave it there. I rarely have visitors, anyway!

Definitely Knapweed. I have some in my garden in Dingle and I don't find it particularly invasive so I keep it because it's so pretty. Your garden is looking lovely Marilyn. We have had beautiful weather here for the past few days and all the plants are looking fantastic. Tomorrow I will take some photos and post - if the weather is good. :D
