Rita, I love your little quilt. I imagine Pam Holland teaches an awesome class and anyway you are soooo good with the coloured pens. :) :) :)

Rita, that scarecrow is so cool! I love it! You did such a beautiful job!

Glad to hear you're almost finished, Renata. Feels good, doesn't it? Of course, I've been procrastinating in naming my quilt and making the label, so I haven't sent Limbania's on to Maureen yet. I do plan to finish that up this weekend so it can start it's journey over the pond!

Renata, I would imagine that my headless scarecrow is talking to you because you are bonkers from doing the Chinese Whispers quilt. Glad you are almost there. I suppose Lois should be feeling very nervous now. I must go and look at the list and see when it will be my turn to be nervous. Good luck with finishing. :D

Oh Rita, your Pam Holland piece is so perfect! You're going to send its twin to me for Thanksgiving, aren't you? That is so lovely! Must have been a great class and you are so talented with the Faber-Castel colours, aren't you? I'm dead serious, that headless scarecrow is really talking to me! Maybe I'll have time soon to make one...

Yes, the deadline is soon approaching and I am getting very close to sending my little one off to Lois! Will let you all know when I am ready to be relieved and pass the Chinese Whispers con to Lois (Navy talk!). :D

No forest fires for us, we are pretty far north of the action. Also, our family in Colorado is north of the fires there. We always keep our fingers crossed, but so far so good!

I finished my little project that I started in the Pam Holland class in Galway last week. It's about 12x13" so a nice wall hanging size for a child's room maybe. I really enjoyed her class. The image is one of her Amazing Alphabet images that we traced and then coloured in.

I will be there next year, but not this. Hope you will enjoy it and that you can make it again next year.

By the way, I'm going to Open European Quilt Championship in Veldhoven 17th-20th October. Any chance that you'll be there? I will wear my TQS badge.
