Rita, what a fun little quilt.
Renata - sounds promising on your front. wish I could remember where I was on the list
Suppose I could always go & check
. Just realised that I need to sort out my entry form for the GNQS for Caught Red Handed in the next couple of weeks, and it isn't even basted yet eek.... hot needle & burning thread time(again)
Just like Wendy predicted
If I remeber correctly, Rosemary, I believe I send my quilt to you. Of course, I will check the list to make sure. I think we are quite a bit ahead of schedule. It may come earlier than you've planned.
So check your schedules everyone. I have been trying to be ready. My sewing machine technician broke her arm on the ice in February which is exactly when my machine started skipping stitiches no matter what I did. It was due for routine maintenance. She's only begun working again last week. I was informed that she has to do routine maintenance on the machines for an entire large school district before she gets to mine. I had been making a pest of myself calling them weekly about getting my machine in line for repair. Fortunately, I have 2 older machines in working order. It's a good thing that design and planning come first. It's also a good thing that I decided those older machines were worth more to me than their trade-in value. I am getting pretty excited to get started. Most of all I am excited to see Renata's quilt.
