Clara here. I wanted to open up a new topic to express my thanks to everyone who has opened up their heart and literally shared it with me. I have been blown away recently by notes, fabric, hugs, handmade items, and so many other amazing gestures just to say thank you to me. We shared a journey together with the Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangle Exchange that was unique and will always stay with me and many others.
I just received a box at tonight's TQS dinner that was filled with blocks from all over the world and states of the US. Even the box was handmade with poems inside, the lyrics to Sorting Queen and yes, a recorded version of Sorting Queen. (hint, the box was made by the same lady who made the hat) I can't seem to get my thoughts together right now to express the gratitude I feel. To Everyone who was involved in that project, sorting hat, cards, fabric, extra HSTs, handmade postcards, even a card for my hubby too, I say with my hand over my heart (not while I'm typing of course)...
