Carol Dear, you take the time you need for our beautiful keepsake. You were gracious enough to extend the original deadline to May, and many more wonderful HST quilts will be added to your CD/book because of that decision! Get set for some big hugs from me in person!

Not to worry, Carol. Just deal with one day at a time.

Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to give you an update on the SOS SoTTT and Strip Friendship exchange book. I am sorry to say it is behind schedule. My goal was to have it ready to go my Houston IQF but it is not going to happen. I don't like to make excuses but we have a few things happen in the last 2 months which have affected getting the Friendship book done.

2 of your veterinarians at our clinics left in July and we are short of help. They did not want to renew their contracts with us and decided to go into practice together for themselves in another town. We were not happy about this but it is life. It has been a lot of long days but we are getting through it. We have a relief vet coming in mid-November. Whooo Hoooo!!!!! And we are interviewing for a replacement vet. I have said many times, things happen for a reason. At the time we just don't understand why, but in the end, it all works out.

I am so sorry to have let all of you down, but I promise I will make it up to everyone. The book/cd will be very special, something we will cherish for a lifetime.

I hope I will see some of you in Houston at IQF. That way I can appoligize to you in person. I will repost a new date when things settle down and I can get back at it after Houston. I really need this trip and my Hubby agrees. LOL!!!! Lately I have been a little grumpy. I hope to be all smiles and laughs when I come back. :) )

Hi Carol & Margo and all,
I was just remembering our wonderful eschange and Houston visit last year and am wondering if we will be able to get our books in Houston or will we need to get them in the mail? :?: :?:
Looking forward to another great Houston Quilt Fest.

A message from Carol....

Hi Margo,

I was hoping to get a list posted of all the quilts submitted but just ran out
of time. I could only select a few for the Smilebox that MaryKay did. She just
wanted about 20 or 30. There are over 150 in all. I will try to get the list
posted when I get back. I am sorry I did not get this done. I had so many
things to take care of before our trip to Ireland I just ran out of time to get
the list completed. I don't want to post an incomplete list, then everyone will
think I did not receive their quilt.

This will be on the top of my ToDo List as soon as I get back home.

Thank you Margo and Terry, I appreciate the information. Wow, Ireland! That's a place that's near the top of my bucket list.

I've send Carol a note, but don't expect to hear back from her until she is home from her trip to Ireland.

Question

I emailed Carole pictures of my SCOTT"S HST quilt at the end of April.
She replied she was having trouble getting them so I tried again with
an new e-mail. If time allows is there any way you could find out if she
received them. I realize she is gone. Margo- sure appreciate all your
help and input.

Thanks TJ

Kim, the slide show was put together by Mary Kay Davis and there are a LOT of photos that were not included there. I'm sure that if you sent Carol others, she will include them in the book. If you are still concerned, just send her an email through her profile: community/my-profile/CMOELLERS

However, she is travelling today to Ireland for the IQF, so don't expect an answer right way! :D

I thought Carol mentioned sending out a list of everyone she has received for the CD - did I miss seeing that?

Margo,

I understand that Carol Moeller is putting together the book/CD with our SOTT quilts. I would like to make sure that she has the photos I sent her several months ago with the finished quilt that includes the quilt borders and quilting. I noticed in the video that was posted on the blog recently that there is an original photo of my unfinished quilt and not the photo of the finished quilt. It is the quilt titled Kaleidoscope. I just want to make sure Carol has the most recent photos for her book/CD.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks,
Kim
