Thank You all for your nice comments! And it is so fun to see what every one are doing with their hst's. Lots of good patterns and blocks to try. I realized that I have (at least) one oooops in my quilt top: Center tree blocks were not supposed to float in my design!. I mean that after finishing the center part, I was supposed to cut it smaller so the tips of the tree blocks were supposed to touch dark floater strip. But I forgot all that by the time I started to sew borders in place... I am going to live with that and be happy to have a little bit larger friendship quilt!

I got my top finished! And e-mailed picture of it for prototype book. Now it is time to think about quilting... I was thinking of using both hand and machine quilting. I am not comfortable with free motion machine quilting on this kind of project, so some stitch in a ditch with machine and then some hand quilting for those empty areas? Any suggestions and advice are welcome.
