I have posted before but no one has responded to me, so I thought I'd post again... I received extras, as well as some identical duplicates. Listed here are some available. If you wish to have any of them, please contact me and I'll send my mailing address to you. If you send me a SASE, I'll be happy to put one/some of your choosing in the mail to you. - Thanks!
From the states, I have: Louisiana, North Dakota, Colorado, MO, CA, IL, PA, TN, IN, MI, Ohio, MN, UT, Vermont, TX, Wisconsin, IA, AZ, NY.
From different countries, I have: England; ON, Canada; SK, Canada; NB, Canada; Alberta, Canada; Quebec, Canada; Germany; Brisbane, Australia; NSW Australia.
Some, I have multiples of.
I also have one extra signed block from Alex.
First come, first served! :)

I was keeping a list of people so I could match up the over and unders but got very little response. Please keep hold of your extra's (Especially the one from Alex) - it looks like we might be sending out another SOS for a quilter in Australia who has still not received her 2nd box (including the golden tickets). We were giving it through the weekend to see if her box comes. I do have another forum topic called SoTTT's Clearing House that explains who I am and what I was trying to do for everyone.

Thanks!
Kari

When I was receiving the HST packages, many packages from Australia, Canada and England took a very long time to arrive. I even had one that was airmailed from Canada and it took almost a month to get here. Rosemary's package took over a month to get here from the U.K. I would recommend giving it at least 4-6 weeks before being too concerned that it was lost. I was also told by the Post Office that the packages will sometimes be delayed in Customs. When my daughter was living in Australia, several flat rate packages I sent her took four weeks to get there too.

Being part of the Sisterhood of the traveling triangle has been so much fun but best of all is seeing the generousity of so many when I came up so many short.l This has been an unforgetable experience. Fri. I will be spending the weekend with 4 of my sisters at a quilt retreat and we are all bringing our hst. We are all going to make the friendship quilt. Thanks again

Hi Ritzy, I was originally shorted 492 and to date have ricieved 445 so I still need 45. If you could spare some I would appriciate. So many quilters have already been so very generous.

I have finally pressed my HSTs and looked at where they are all from. These are the extras or duplicates that I have. The number in front is how many I have of each, the name after the number is the name of the sender or whatever info. is on the HST to differentiate it from the others, the last is the state of country of origin.

Thanks so much to all of the generous quilters who have come to my rescue. So far I have recieved 396 hst of the 490 I was short. It seem like everyday my mailbox yields more surprises. :D Next weekend I will be going on a quilt retreat with 3 of my sisters who also participated in the hst challenge. They will be bringing their hst so we can see what each other recieved. We are all going to make the friendship quilt.

I have only received 3 emails letting me know who came up short or who has too many. Please keep me in mind, this is what I volunteered for. I will match you up with someone who has extra or send out SOS's for you.

I have only received 2 people who would like to participate in my suggested duplicate packet swap but are concerned about the lack of interest. If you are specifically looking for more international or a particular state then this exchange is not for you - a forum request with what you are looking for would better suit your needs. If you are like me, and received many, many duplicates my swap might help reduce those duplicates (we couldn't have all gotten the same duplicates!). The more people who participate the less chances for more duplicates.

If no one is interested that's ok too - less work for me, more time to sew.

Just trying to help,
Kari

So, this is my question - how are YOU defining 'duplicate' - based on fabrics or based on labels?
I define duplicates as same fabric on both sides of the HST. I received sometimes 20+ from one person, but she mixed them up pretty good, and of those I only had about three duplicates.[/quote]
For me it would be exact fabric combinations, but I am not too picky. I have received multiples from the same person, but different fabrics. I have also gotten multiples of the exact same fabrics. I don't care either way. For me , I took a gamble on what I would receive, and plan to deal with what I got. So since I got the amount I sent in, I will plan my design on what I received. It's the simplest for me and just want to get on with my quilt. Now that being said, if anyone didn't get a HST from Connecticut, I would be willing to send one out.
