Until then, I thought I'd let everyone know that I had already finished my HSTs and had them bagged and ready to mail when the posts started mentioning adding our screen name to each one. I didn't and wish I had now. Instead, I only had "Birmingham, AL USA" on each one. So if you receive one labeled that way, it's mine. Just thought you might want to know. Looking forward to discovering what comes in my package. I've had my quilt designed since before I mailed the HSTs and am anxious to start piecing it together. Donna, I have 3 of yours. I just finished starting to make a record of all the places and people I have them from and yours was the first group I recorded. Really I place them on my copier with both some fabric and the paper side showing and made a photo copy. Not sure how it will be used maybe on transferfabric for the back of my quilt! oops, my post got lost, so I will type it again. My HST's came today and I am so happy with all of them. I poured a glass of wine and poured through them and I feel like I have new friends all over the country and around the world. GREAT JOB LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. I re-arranged my HST's to blocks. I think I will add a sash and maybe print each state or country on the front of the squares.
I want to remember were each one came from and since I have 4 with signatures already it will be my around the world quilt. |
