A Stripper Exchange - how wonderful!!!! I am going to not commit on a certain amount yet. I will see how many participants, It would be nice for everyone to have a strip, so not going to tell how many I will be making. It will be a "striptease". I have ordered Edyta's book Friendship Strips and Scraps. I love the front cover quilt and want to make it. I just don't know when I am going to do it. I am working on 3 quilts at the present. My BOM, a Kaleidoscope sample wall quilt for a quilt shop class I will be teaching in April, and an entry for the Just for Me MQS contest. I don't watch TV, so this is my entertainment in the evenings. I try each night to get about 3 hours sewing in. That is if we don't have any emergency calls that come into the vet clinic. When that happens it really takes a bite into my sewing time. I don't mind it though because it is doing something to help our furry little friends. This one will be an easy exchange to do. No sewing, just cutting strips. The sewing will come once all the strips come back
 . I hope to have a few projects completed by then!!!! |

I have lots of leftover strips that are 2" and 2 1/2" .   Why is this exchange limited to only 1 1/2" ?I have based the width of the strips on the projects in Edyta's Friendship Strips and Scraps nook which uses 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" Barb |

I believe the purpose of the exchange is so we can use the books and patterns from Edyta Sitar. hope this helps. In fact I bought her pattern Summer Slice with this swap in mind.

So the date to sign up is now Feb 28th - the strips are still due to me by April 30th. You can send in a minimum of 25 strips to a maximum of 200 strips - all batiks - all 1 1/2" wide by about 22" long. Well, now, I was just lamenting that I missed the triangles exchange and probably rightly so due to commitment to SELF to begin no new projects. But this is so easy, I'll just have to do it!
