TOPIC: Sensational Strippers Exchange

Re: Sensational Strippers Exchange 04 Mar 2011 23:22 #59514

Hi there
I have 100 strips ready to come to you.
As I am in Australia I am wondering what to do with the postage side of things. I can't send a postage paid return envelope, as it will be in Australian dollars.
hopefully I'm not the only one with this dilemma. Sorry if you have discussed this before, but I couldn't find anything in the rules

This is the first fabric exchange that I've ever participated in, and I am so excited about it.

Today, I finally purchased my batiks--it was so much fun choosing from the hundreds of beautiful batiks available. Since the bolts of fabrics were stacked on the shelves such that only about 1 1/2" of each was exposed, I could see how the strips would look before making my selections. When I pulled fabrics from the shelves, they were even more beautiful when I could see their entire designs. The store clerk was very generous when cutting the fabrics for me, so luckily I'll have a few strips leftover to keep from each of the fabrics I chose. Unfortunately, I didn't catch a sale, but I was able to use my discount card.

I also stopped at the post office to get my postage and flat rate envelopes, so now I need to get to cutting my strips.

I just ordered my fabric for the background of my spools, and it was on sale with half price postage. I am trying to clear my quilting machine so I can start when the strips arrive.

Hi Everyone,

Some of you have asked how many "strippers" we have. The number is about 212. I am more interested in keeping up with the names and amount of strips I receive. Some people may sign up and change their minds, etc.

As of yesterday's mail I have received 40 packages totaling 6340 BEAUTIFUL batik strips. :D :D

Please remember to send me an email when you mail your strips.

My stripping days are done :-) I will mail them out tomorrow and will email when they are actually sent. I did the 200 and sent a few extras for whomever needs. I will also send a fat quarter for Barb.

It should be fixed now! I was writing directions for uploading a profile photo, and apparently the computer thought I wanted to change mine!

You should be able to add a profile photo through your profile link. From the purple bar hover over MY ACCOUNT and click on MY PROFILE from the drop-down menu.

Scroll down to the PROFILE IMAGE box and select UPLOAD PROFILE IMAGE
Click on CHOOSE FILE
navigate in your computer files until you find the photo you want and click on it once to "select" it then click OPEN
Click on UPLOAD PHOTO
After the image has uploaded, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on SUBMIT.
