It's fine to change the amount you are sending, just be sure to include the number of HSTs and your screen name both inside and outside your package. I like that you're thinking in increments of 28, too.

I decided to go for the 616 triangles, including 12 from my Mom. They are not all the same fabrics, they are from my most favorite pieces in my stash. They are sewn and now I'm cutting them apart. Just trying to keep them in some order in my sewing room is a big effort! I surely appreciate Clara and Debbie's calm assurances that they have things under control. The effort involved in their sorting will be mind-boggling. I can hardly wait to see them when they come back here!

Well done, Kathy...the 616 HST's is actually in 22 increments of 28! You did the math and we sincerely appreciate it. It's great that you're going to share some of your favorite pieces of fabric, too. I haven't even started mine yet! Hmmmm...I wonder why? Could it be that I haven't been able to get 3 feet away from my computer this past week and a half??? I am very anxious to get started on them though.

I am loving this sisterhood, I can hardly wait for my papers, books and fabrics (which I just HAD to have) arrive from the US.
I have been looking at some of your profiles and I am absolutely in awe at some of your quilts.
While I wait I am watching the weather station and as if Queensland hasn't had enough recently now we have this humungous cyclone on its way to North Queensland due to hit just south of here on my birthday, so there goes my lunch out with the girls - all your prayers needed here. This land is definately a land of extremes, droughts, fires, floods, cyclones and awesome beauty, at least we don't get the blizzards that you guys get!!! LOL...
Good gravy!!!!! My thoughts are with you guys. Tough year!
I've been doing the same thing with checking out all the quilts. I'm most looking forward to wondering what all these HSTs are going to turn into.
Enjoy and I'm glad you are. Clara

Is there an icon or button available for use on my blog to help spread the word of this fabulous fabric frolic to spread the enthusiasm for future exchanges??

I think the very best thing to get people excited about an exchange it to become a TQS member and watch Episode 802 with Edyta Sitaar! Then watch the excitement of this worldwide exchange, and set up one of your own!

I am sooo excited about this. I have never participated in an exchange before, and now to be in such a large one!! It is wonderful. Hopefully I will get my papers tomorrow and can get started. If the weather doesn't get too bad I want to hit the fabric shop again for more variety.

Hopefully the sorting process and a news article with pictures will be in the "sorters'" local newspapers, giving them credit for all their hard work and the impact they are having on the world.

I can help, if somebody provides me with the flight ticket (UK to US and back) and explains to my Headmaster why I have to be away during term time ("Sir, it's vitally important that Lorchen gets at least a week off. The future of about 600 quilters depends on thousands of fabric triangles getting sorted into little bags!!"...... I can just see his raised eyebrows and puzzled look....).

Can't wait to see pictures of the sorting process sometime in April. :)
