I found more fabric this morning so now have enough for 30 sheets from 15 darks and 9 lights. I'm not sure how many I will finish for this exchange but at least as many as there are participants. Some I will save for the batiks only exchange since most of them are batiks. I don't care if I get some of mine back or duplicates. In fact you can count everyone elses and give me the leftovers. You wouldn't even have to count them. And if there was a miscount and someone ended up short I would gladly mail it to them. It sounds like you are going to have to do a lot of counting! If everyone sent an average of 200 apiece and there were 400 participants that would equal 80,000. So how long does it take to count that high? At 1 per second that would be about 22 hours!!! I hope you have plenty of helpers.

AJ, I love that you're going to try to make as many as there are participants...that's a fun approach! We're not planning on counting every HST...we're depending on everyone to write how many they sent (honor system!!) on their baggies and the mailing envelope/package. We have had some local members volunteer to help and Clara is working on an efficient sorting and distribution system.

We're smilling and laughting and keeping our fingers crossed... :) :)

Hi I would like to join the STT Exchange and will probably send 84 triangles.

I am from the UK and my post code is BB2 2SJ. My TQS log in name is Barbara 7136. I think that is all you need for now.

This looks like FUN and I am looking forward to joining in!

Thanks, Barbara

Batiks are my favorite fabric to work with. Would like to be included. I think at least 8 sets for a total of 224.

Beth, we're happy to have you join our Exchange. However, I do want to clarify that this is not a 'batiks only' exchange. We will be exchanging batiks, prints, tone-on-tone, solids and hand dyed fabrics.

Hope you're still in even if it isn't batiks only. I have many HSTs that are a mix of baticks and prints. They can be mixed very successfully with each other and they are all equally beautiful.

I don't know about all of you, but I am in hog-heaven when two months have gone by and my quilting magazines start arriving in my mailbox. Today I received two, and guess what's in April's issue of Better Homes and Gardens American Patchwork and Quilting...
a wonderful article and great photos of Edyta and her quilting studio. I can't put my hands on my Fons & Porter magazine right now (because my sewing 'studio' looks nothing like Edyta's), but I remember she was featured in their Love of Quilting's last issue (or the one before that) along with a quilt pattern.

Katie, there's no official sign-up form. Consider yourself 'in' now that you've posted it in the Forum, so Welcome to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Triangles Exchange!!!
