Thanks for chiming in Bob! I have used the Prosilver all along, and I sometimes see the quick reply box and sometimes don't. So now I suspect that if the original post was created in Tara, perhaps that's why there is no quick reply box on some posts? What do you think?
So THAT explains it Michelle!

Wow! This has been an educational topic. In addition to the question answer, I have learned about screen capture on the iPad and more uses for Paint. It is fun to stay abreast of the topics even if I don't always respond.
Thanks, ladies. It truly is a new day everyday.
P.S. I use the Tara style so I had no quick reply button.

After some research, the "Tara" Style template (selected in the upper right) does not have the "Quick Reply" button as the other 2 styles do. Also, "Quick Reply" does not mean you'll get a quick reply, it is just a quick method to reply that does not have all the embellishments. You can change styles and play with the different types of replies to see the difference.
Hope this helps.

Way to go, Rita! That may be the answer! To change the "style" of the forum page you can select from the drop-down menu at the upper right of the screen.

Well, well, well, I just changed to the 'prosilver style and lo and behold I have a quick reply button where I didn't have one before. I had been using the Tara style like you Norma. I guess it does make a difference.
