In the last few days I saw a Log Cabin quilt--one was diagonals the other a diamond, but with an interesting touch, that made it so interesting.
The contrast was strong--lights and darks, I think the one I recall was dark reds or maroons. However, the most interesting aspect of this quilt was that the center square was made up of HS triangles. so when the quilt was put together the diagonals looked diagonal. The two halves of the center square were light and dark!
Anyone remember seeing this? The page shows both versions.
I would love to have the link, just to show a friend who is planning a quilt how it looked.
