I've watched the video four or five times now. Love it! She's not only sewing and tractoring at the same time, she's also filming the whole adventure. What a hoot!
I especially like the credit line that says "Becky -- Just sitting there."

I have too much fabric to have room for any more sewing machines. I'll have to just stick with my 2 Berninas. At least until I buy a new house or add on to this one.

Connie, don't fight it. It is fun. I started with one treadle, then got one for my daughter. She has since gotten a second treadle. She says I am her enabler. She also has two featherweights, a Singer 201, and two newer Singers (about 30 years old). The Bernina will come in a couple of months, after her next move! When trying to finish a special dress for one of her DDs the newer Singer stopped working, Then the first featherweight got a thread caught. and she had to go to the second featherweight to finish the dress. In one place it was sewing through 8 layers of cotton sateen. No problem at all.
I still just have one treadle, several other machines, and a Singer 66 that I am going to convert to a hand crank. I wonder what DH would say if I put it on my lap on our next trip?

Connie, go to the doctor immediately and get a potion to fix you! (And don't accept the lime in the coconut one, it doesn't work! LOL) I have had treadle fever for some time now and it just gets worse and worse. I have taken to late night trawling eBay and other Irish website looking for a hand-cranked machine - I already have two treadle machines.
Rita, I may be too far down the slippery slope... My brother has possession of my grandmother's Singer treadle machine, and I'm thinking about asking him if I could have it. It shouldn't matter that I would then have 5 sewing machines and he would have zero, right?

That is so cool, Lotti, thank you! Amazing that she was able to quilt a large quilt (although she says she never will again LoL) with her hand-cranked sewing machine. Really enjoyed the blog, thanks for posting the link!
