I learnt today that Carol Miller, the dean and founder of Quilt University has passed away.
I took a number of classes at QU in 2007/2008 a couple with Carol and she set a very high standard for the rest of the teachers at QU to follow. The newsletters she wrote were always thought provoking but also very humorous. She will be sorely missed in the quilting world she has contributed so much to over the years!
Thoughts and prayers go to her family in this difficult time.
