Something I learnt a couple of years ago (when I also discovered that I was actually born in the year of the snake, rather than horse -birth date/new year sorting out) is that the chinese regard the snake as a little dragon, and something far nicer than we in the west, usually think of, when we think of snakes.
There are also differences whether you are a water snake, earth snake, fire snake, etcetera... but that is left to the astrologers because there are many factors involved in characterizing the kind of snake you are (please don't take that in the Western sense
). In any event, for those of you who were born this year and turn sixty, traditionally, you become a
senior and you are given the biggest birthday party (usually a formal banquet) with all your family and friends to celebrate the occasion in the biggest way!
Thank you for all the good wishes!
