The High Park Fire (up here) is 100% contained. The Waldo Canyon fire (Colorado Springs) is also 100% contained. The monsoon rains have arrived. Now we are dealing with flooding and landslides...the Poudre river is polluted with ash so Fort Collins is not using it as a source of drinking water. They are getting their water from Horsetooth Reservoir instead.

Today is supposed to be hot and we are expecting hot temperatures until the weekend. Then, the monsoon rains will return. Our air is clean again (yea!)...I can breathe...

idaho OFFLINE Posts: 2531 Thank you received: 183	I've not seen this kind of thing in the west...at least not in JUNE. Now there is a bad one in southeastern Idaho...edge of Pocatello, residential /wildland , 60 some homes lost overnight !!!
