There is a rubber-like shelf liner with ribs designed to grip without glue that I have used on the bottom of wrist cushions for using at computers to prevent them from moving around. If you cut out a little bit of that and glued it to the side that is slipping, it might work. Here's a link to it so you can see what I mean: http://www.containerstore.com/shop/kitchen/pantryOrganizers/drawerShelfLiners?productId=10000690&N=64222
Hope that helps. Cheers, BJ

I'm looking for suggestions

I'm hoping someone out there can give me some ideas. I blogged a while ago about making seat numbers for a theatre that I work at. What we need are small bands with numbers on them to mark the seats. We need to be able to take them off and put them back on. We did a temporary with felt bands, iron on numbers, and sticky back velcro. The velcro didn't stick very well and the bands slid around. So I found some bands of velcro that are hooks on one side and loops on the other which would mean that we wouldn't have to sew velcro on 304 straps. But that still doesn't stop them from slipping around the arm of the chair. Someone suggested an elastic fabric. Does anyone have any ideas????
