The Basic (Free) membership does not have a time limit. By upgrading to a Star membership you open up all the new shows that premiere during your membership period, plus the classrooms and Block of the Month patterns. Our membership can be confusing, so I would be glad to answer any questions.

You are a star member as soon as you redeem your 6 month membership. Buying an additional six months gives you a year of star membership.
