What type of table do you have? I have the HQ16 but purchased their table and it is quilt sturdy. If you want to see pics of table set ups, you can check out the yahoo site for HQ 16 sitdown setups at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HQ_Sit_down_Model/

You have to join the group but it's free. The biggest thing is a stability UNDER the table.

My sewing machine table is a small (2'x3') table from an office supply store. It has adjustable legs and is very sturdy. I then have a plexiglas extender which butts up against an L-shaped higher computer table so I have a flat surface to handle the bulk in sewing or quilting larger items.

My machine quilting table is not as sturdy as I would like. I have a HQ16 but the table wobbles when I use it. I have seen some tables with the legs removed and placed on wooden cabinets as a base. Does anyone have any suggestions, ideas, or comments.

Thanks :D
