I just got through on the phone! They have been closed for three days due to massive power outages. They are working with a skeleton staff trying to process orders.

I, too, have not received a confirmation on an order I placed right before the storm hit. with so many utility problems down there, I'm not surprised. News reports say it may be days before full power is restored.
Fortunately, an order I placed last week for extra-wide backing fabric was shipped before the storm. I was just itching to work on that quilt.

Paducah was hit by the ice storm and are having real problems with telephones and in some cases electricity, according to a lady I spoke with there earlier today.

Well that would make sense! I looked at the radar yesterday for the Paducah zip code and didn't see any snow storms but ice is certainly a possibilty.

I saw pictures on the news from Paduch, and they looked covered in ice. I wouldn't be surprised if they are closed because of the weather.

Well Angela, you might be on to something. I placed a fabric order with them yesterday morning and have yet to receive a confirmation email... which normally arrives within minutes. I'm not even sure the order went through.

Have you "Tinkled" today?

I have emailed them twice. I sent both emails to their regular customer service email (listed on their website) and directly to somebody who works in their customer service department (with whom I have emailed with before).

Angela........All circuits busy is an outgoing phone line issue, not something wrong with Hancock's phone's....all of the pathways for the signal to travel over are in use. It could have something to do with power outages, too. You could try to contact them via email - IF their power isn't out. Good luck!

Does anyone know if Hancock's of Paducah is having problems. I have tried to call them for 2 days now on both their toll free number and their regular number, and I keep getting a recording, "all circuits busy." I've sent 2 emails as well. I'm only interested in placing an order. I sure hope that this does not mean that they are going out of business. Any ideas?
