Hi, do you still have the machine? How big is the cabinet and is it possible to partially disassemble for travel. I live in SoCal but will be traveling to OR in mid May and coming back the end of May/first part of June. My brother lives in Vallejo so will stopping for a couple of days. Don't know if we would have room, but we do have a mid-sized SUV - I can ask at our next Guild meeting if anyone would be interested. Let me know particulars. Thanks, Lori

wish I could but I'm just a happy camper with my Janome 6600 and my Janome Heart Truth for my travel machine.

I'm way past the stage in life of 'collecting!"

My offer still stands - hoping someone will read this. She is a beauty and needs a good home.

I would love to give it a home. So the next time you are in the Windsor/Detroit area give me a call.
I am so wishing that I lived closer.

Big sigh......... I'd love to give it a good home, but there is the itsy-bitsy problem of distance.

If nobody here comes forward, I bet someone in your local area quilt guild would love to have it.

The Singer 301 can lower its feed dogs, and does a very nice job of free-motion quilting and embroidery.

Singer 301 needs a home 14 Jan 2009 22:22 #30998

I have a Singer 301 in a cabinet (the machine is in excellent shape, cabinet needs work) that my husband bought at a garage sale along with two other machines - $12 for all three!!!. It is a beauty but I just don't have room for it. I already have a sweet little featherweight. I want the 301 to go to a good quilting home. I sold the other two machines at my garage sale last summer, but I couldn't sell this to just anyone. So, I am offering this free (yes, free) to a quilter who would appreciate it and would be willing to come and get it - I live in Northern California. Any takers?? I can send pictures if you are really interested. It deserves a good home, it's cold and lonely in my garage!!
