TOPIC: Quilter's cruise control

We didn't have any problems at all hooking it up. The directions are pretty good. Of course I read them and tell DH what to do.
I'm using a Schmetz Topstitch 100/16.

I have the juki 98E, so that is good news, no problem hooking it up then. I have the handiquilter.
So, you didn't encounter any glitches getting it hooked up where you had to call tech service?
thanks for both your replies. I am pretty tired of small and large stitches and extremely small where I am trying to do a pattern. i am just branching out past the stippling stage.
Oh, what size needles do you use with it?

The QCC I have is also part of my New Joy set up. I have to tell you that the freedom it gave me was limitless!

I have one on my New Joy frame/Juki machine. LOVE IT!! I don't think I'd be able to get my stitches to look very presentable without it. heehee. It does a great job of regulating my stitch legnth....something I have a hard time doing if I don't use it.
When I take the Juki off the frame I do have the speed regulator that I use and that helps me a lot. Without it I'd be speeding right along and that keeps me slowed down enough that I can breath.
Two different regulators for doing two different things.
Sure would hate to be without either one.

Quilter's cruise control 05 Aug 2008 22:52 #23542

Has anyone heard any reviews or purchased the 'quilter's cruise control' stitch regulator? I just happened across the web page as I was looking for some things.
It plugs into the foot pedal port and has a device connected to the quilt frame. It is priced reasonably at $500.
