Clara~ I am among your legions of admirers. Fabulous quilts and I, too, will be bidding! Question-- have you ever considered offering your patterns for sale? I, for one, would snap them up in a heartbeat :!: :!:

Beautiful quilts Clara. I read all your dedications and it's clear that your grandma Anne was a very special person in your life. What a great way to honour her memory I am sure she would be so proud of you and pleased herself. Congratulations. :D

Clara, your quilts are stunning!!!!! I haven't gone to check out the stories yet, but I will.
I actually pulled my first AAQI top out this past weekend, finished the applique on it, and sandwiched it to start hand quilting it. Went well on Saturday, and my hand quilting on it, while certainly not where I'd like it to be, is better than I've managed to do before, so I was pleased, and looking forward to finishing it up this week. But Sunday, suddenly I had pain shooting up and down my hand and arm. I wasn't even hand quilting at the time, so maybe it's a combination of everything I did over the weekend instead of just the hand quilting, but for the moment, I'm not getting much quilting done. My hand is getting better, but not nearly fast enough!

Ouchie! Sounds terrible. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for the nice words everyone. :D

I loved trying out trapunto and prairie points for the first time. Great way to learn. What to do next? Guess I better finish the flowers.

Oh My! Wonderful quilts - and just as important - works of art! Thank you for bringing us all closer to this issue, and pushing us (not in a bad way  ) to stretch our artistic skills for a most worthy cause. The extra benefit is that we get to practice "skills" as well as take artistic chances if we so desire!! Oh Yeah!!

Well done Clara - it's a great feeling isn't it?

Yes, it is a good feeling. In the dedication area I shared a little story of the person I'm dedicating these to. I was boo hooing it by the time I completed registering them. Got them up on Show & Tell too. The stories are there too.
