DH has been busy planting up in the garden. It is very Spring-like weather here with a lot of sunshine and lots of budding plants. It does the heart good. I went out into the garden early this morning and took some shots. Here's some inspiration for you Clara:

Thanks for the inspiration. Sounds like you guys had fun playing in the garden. It always feels good when it's done and there are so many colors.

And here are a couple of flowers from a bouquet I received at the weekend. There is nothing like a beautiful flower to lift the spirits.

I'm hoping to go to a garden next week and get some photos for inspiration. Maybe visit a butterfly garden too! I feel like doing some spring quilting.

What are you working on?

The last 5 days I haven't gotten a lot of quilting done, but I am planning another batch. What do you do in your downtime of quilting?

Oh yes, I forgot. I have also been working on a pair of rockers that my hubby's Dad recained for us. The rest of the wood on the rockers was in bad shape (they were salvaged). We got busy sanding, priming and painting. A little mosaic work too.

Grandma Anne was his wife. He is now having serious problems with prostate cancer. So naturally, these chairs upped their value by huge leaps and bounds sentimentally wise.

Any suggestions on color for the grout?

Renata -

WOW! Your peony turned out gorgeous, and I'm sure it's even more beautiful in person!! You did a wonderful job.
