Hi Mathew! You could go to 'Classroom', then pick Laura Nownes sampler quilt lessons and follow those - excellent instructions and great practice if you want to get to grips with some of the most common blocks. You'll never look back. :)

Matthew, in January 2011 Edyta Sitar was a TQS guest: watch/watch-shows/video/show-802-tips-and-tricks-for-triangles-and-strips

After that we had a BIG exchange of of half-square triangles among our members and I made a video showing how to use them to make pinwheel blocks.

Maybe that will help.

Maybe you would like to see this little demonstration on basic blocks:

You can google pinwheel patchwork and a lot comes up. You can look at Pinterest for ideas.
Good luck!

Does anyone have a pinwheel pattern that they can email to me. I am a beginner so I would prefer something simple.
My email is mailto:matthew.bourbon@gmail.com
