Two of my friends have done it and it is so beautiful. I would add that one decided to outline parts of it with pearl cotton and it really popped it! It is delicious!

I have started the Vintage Valentine quilt!...amongest my other 6 projects I am doing at one time.... I am almost done with the center block!

I've seen this pattern and I think the fabric chosen for the kit is what makes it so nice. If other fabric/ colors were chosen the quilt wouldn't match the name. JMHO.

I have the pattern...and no I have not even started it. I want to finish my Baltimore Album first. Since I first saw the the quilt, I wanted to do it.
I did not buy the fabrics with the pattern. I decided to pick my own. The fabrics are in the same flavor as the original quilt. HOWEVER, I have thought of going completely wild and doing batiks or brights on black.
There are so many possibilities!!
