Hmmm. Yes, we could also use the MS data base, what is it called? Oh, yeah, Access. Then you can sort it in many different ways, too.

Course you can do some of that in Excell, also.

I just used my works / excell spread sheet

I listed books by author... then by title ... then put them in alphabetical order.... Easy to add to so I keep the information updated.

I keep the information in several copies so I can have them organized easily and by each topic.

It also counted the books for me

I use Shelfari, which is an online product that you can just list your books for others (or yourself) to see. It's kind of a nice way to hear about different books from friends, etc. if you are wanting to plan ahead for something to read.

I think it might work for this. Check it out and let us know if it'll work for your purposes. Maybe I'll have to add my Quilting books to my lists!

I tried a trial demo of a book tracking software called "Book Collector" to see if I'd really get any use out of it. It's great, but only holds 100 records and costs something like $35-40 for the full version. Anyone know of a program like that I could download for free? I didn't realize how many books I have, and I've only counted the quilting books!
