BOM 2021 - Color My World

Enjoy "Color My World" by Wendy Williams - This beautiful quilt is constructed of soft and textural shot cottons from Windham fabrics on a richly patterned background. It offers so many opportunities for personalization through both embellishment and quilting- you could add house numbers, decorations, people, pets, garden flowers- there are so many ways to make this quilt truly your own!

bbquiltmaker OFFLINE Posts: 1498 Thank you received: 1762	The threads in the Kit are for piecing. 60 wt in the top, 80 wt in the bobbin. Use any colors you prefer for piecing. I use gray or tan almost exclusively

Sewjuki, I wouldn't do that. I don't think it's designed for piecing. I think you can try a sample; just sew two pieces of fabric together and give it a tug to see if it comes apart. Hi Casciamom. I am using Aurifil. They are quite light, but if I cut the thread too long for applique it tangles quite easily. I have not learned to cut short lengths - slow learner. I am sure there are other brands out there that are just as easy to use like Gutterrman. Jessie
