"Afternoon Delight" was one of Sue Garman's favorite patterns. This wonderfully scrappy quilt is truly a delight to make with its combination of simple appliqué and Double Nine-Patch blocks and modified Shoo Fly blocks. Each month you will work on pieced and appliquéd blocks, and in the final month, you will assemble the blocks and add the outer border. The finished quilt measures approximately 86 1/2" inches square.

Let's use this Topic "Afernoon Delight Show and Tell" as a place to show off your beautiful blocks. That way, you know where to come to see what everyone is doing.

The topics that apply to each month are a good place to ask questions or make suggestions for each block.

AND when you post your photos to Social Media, like Instagram, Facebook, etc., use either of these hash tags so everyone there will be able to find our wonderful work:

Thank you Helen
Wendy’s work looks great. I had never heard of her until BOM was announced. Thank you for the book cover. Looks energetic!

Thank you, Helen. While it’s not the one I was looking for it is very similar and I will add Wendy Williams to my list!

ebmotha, Sure sounds like you are describing Wendy Williams, the australian quilt designer that is going to be next year's BOM for TQS.
Just by looking at her pillows and this picture on her book. She fits the description. If not, you might want to add her to your new list.

Hi everyone. I know I am dropping a needle in a haystack and hoping to find it. My computer crashed and I lost tons of patterns and information. Note to self learn to back up your computer. One thing I lost was a list I had Been developing of quilt artists / pattern designers that I liked. There was one designer that I believe was Australian. She used circles to create flowers. A lot of her samples were pillows. I know that’s not a lot of information but if anyone knows of any lonks I could try to find this artist again I would be grateful.
