Join us on a TQS exclusive 12-month creative journey with Becky Goldsmith as we bring you "Sizzle," a stunning quilt designed especially for TQS.

Each month we will provide photos, detailed directions for a portion of the quilt, and full-size patterns. Becky has also created a selection of "how-to" videos to guide you along the way.

Let's use this Topic "Sizzle Show and Tell" as a place to show off your beautiful Sizzle Blocks. That way, you know where to come to see what everyone is doing.
The topics that apply to each month are a good place to ask questions or make suggestions for each block.
AND when you post your photos to Social Media, like Instagram, Facebook, etc., use either of these hash tags so everyone there will be able to find our wonderful work:

Thank you. It was added a few months back and we didn’t catch that. I will ask to have it fixed again—thank you!

BARBARA,,,

The blog link under your name doesn’t have the letter t in it for quilt, so the link isn’t working. Don’t know how often you’ve probably used that signature, but it’s a shame that it wasn’t caught sooner....

VTQuilter2018,
I too often have become bored with a BOM. And to think I’m the one in charge of this year’s for my local quilt guild, lol. I like your approach to going with a new direction and truly ‘making it your own’. Congratulations on not letting the flaps on the box keep you inside!

I decided after 5 blocks that I was bored. I had a picture from somewhere that gave me inspiration. I then sat down and did a bunch of math and am in love with it!!! More my style.

Here is a picture of it on my design wall. Quilt is bigger than design wall, hence the draping fabrics. I still have to sew the 3 sections together, sew the corners on, and then trim it to be square, but this is a good Enough visual to share. I will post another picture when it is all completed
