Join us on a TQS exclusive 12-month creative journey with Becky Goldsmith as we bring you "Sizzle," a stunning quilt designed especially for TQS.

Each month we will provide photos, detailed directions for a portion of the quilt, and full-size patterns. Becky has also created a selection of "how-to" videos to guide you along the way.

Let's use this Topic "Sizzle Show and Tell" as a place to show off your beautiful Sizzle Blocks. That way, you know where to come to see what everyone is doing.
The topics that apply to each month are a good place to ask questions or make suggestions for each block.
AND when you post your photos to Social Media, like Instagram, Facebook, etc., use either of these hash tags so everyone there will be able to find our wonderful work:

The patterns for the Side Borders will post October 1 and the patterns for the Top/Bottom borders will post November 1.

I am working on both of those right now, writing detailed blogs with the methods I used.

Becky uses freezer paper run through an ink jet printer. I use either Quilters' Select Print and Piece Fuse Lite or C&T Wash-Away Applique sheets. If you want to see the process I used on Ruffled Roses, I have detailed instructions here:

and here:

For now, if you want to practice machine applique', I suggest you draw or find a simple applique' design and work on your technique now. Come October, you will be ready to go when the patterns are released.

Very happy to have instructions to begin the appliqué portion of this fun BOM!
Could not find template page for leaves and curls. Usually at end of instructions.
I Have enjoyed using Apliquick tools for this BOM and appliqué in general. Curious about any recommendations of specific fusible I can run thru printer for appliqué shapes.
Quilter's Select has several products sized for printers. which one is best for this use?
