Join us on a TQS exclusive 12-month creative journey with Becky Goldsmith as we bring you "Sizzle," a stunning quilt designed especially for TQS.

Each month we will provide photos, detailed directions for a portion of the quilt, and full-size patterns. Becky has also created a selection of "how-to" videos to guide you along the way.

Let's use this Topic "Sizzle Show and Tell" as a place to show off your beautiful Sizzle Blocks. That way, you know where to come to see what everyone is doing.
The topics that apply to each month are a good place to ask questions or make suggestions for each block.
AND when you post your photos to Social Media, like Instagram, Facebook, etc., use either of these hash tags so everyone there will be able to find our wonderful work:

I haven't quite figured out how to make my photos smaller or as attachments. Any information from you would be appreciated.

Mayleen,
I had a Judy Neimeyer quilt with a lot of seams meeting in the center. I ended up appliquing an
appropiate size circle over the seams and going to the back side and cutting away the area where the seams met. That made the area flat and it looked like a design element. HelenW

I used the line drawing in month one to make my raw edge blocks and border I made the circles small enough for each circle to fit on a page of printer paper. It was totally an experiment and it worked out the way I hoped. I.did change the circles layouts on a few of the blocks. I have been having great fun with this pattern. I do plan to make a full sized Sizzle in the future.

I made my borders a little different than the pattern. One piece pedals with an outline. Trying to decide layout.
Still just playing around with them.

Your block looks great, Mayleen! Don't be so critical: I can't even notice/see any imperfections! Great job
