Alice, first, be sure you are logged in when you go to BOM 2017. In the section titled Halo Medallion Quilt--Month 5, click Download Instructions. This takes you to Download Instructions for BOM 2017 Halo Medallion Quilt. They are listed in order, starting with the Introduction, then Month 1, Month 2, etc. Just slide on down until you get to Month 5. Click on the PDF labeled pdf_2017_5.pdf. That should download the Month 5 instructions for you.

I do this on a PC because I find it easier to see all the buttons and sliders than on the Ipad or IPhone.

I hope this helps you.

Alice, I've had problems a couple of times. It turned out each time that I wasn't logged in when I could have sworn I was.

This is my 10th BOM, between TQS and my local quilt shop. I gave up on keeping up early on. Just having fun. Also I get to see a lot of quilts ahead of me and have changed my mind on colors a time or two. I am particularly loving this BOM!

Here is the "tips and tricks" blog for May, as we continue to make Curved Flying Geese:

I know some of you are scared of falling behind. While it is great to keep up with a “block of the month”, life sometimes intervenes. It’s not a catastrophe to get behind. Wherever you are, find ways to use bits of time for prep, cutting pieces, printing and separating paper patterns, etc. If you have to wait until you have 4 hours of uninterrupted time before you START, you’ll never get done. I always have something out by the machine, ready to sew whenever I have time. Just use the time you have to plug away at the process. As long as you are moving forward, that’s a success. Some months you may keep up, some months you may catch up. Most important: enjoy the process and create when and as you can.
