Join us on a new 12-month journey as we bring you bring you another spectacular quilt designed especially for TQS by Sue Garman. The 2017 TQS BOM Halo Medallion Quilt features a stunning variation of a feathered star surrounded by multiple scrappy borders. As icing on the cake she has included flying geese rings and delectable mountain blocks. Once again Sue has created a quilt for you that is sure to be a family heirloom in your home.
Two more ribbons for Sue's 2017 BOM. I entered my quilt "Just for the Birds" in the Buckhorn ON Quilt Show this month. It won Viewers Choice and came in runner up for Best of Show.
I finished my quilt a while ago now but didn't have a good way to take photos after it was quilted. Our guild's show was this weekend and my Halo Star Medallion was there. Unfortunately, the lighting doesn't show her off well but you can get some idea of how Joan Hett quilted it. I was very pleased with the final result!
Proud to say the Halo Medallion BOM took another ribbon!! The theme of my Guild's show on Cape Cod was Seasons of Quilting. I won Viewer's Choice in the Theme Category with my Cape Cod Summer quilt.
Congratulations! Love your color choices.

Finally finished the top at least! Actually did that in April after adding another row of red and white hst's, but now on to quilting...I really enjoyed doing this.
Very nice! Can't wait to see it completed.
