Join us on a TQS exclusive 12-month journey into the land of childhood memory with a charming quilt designed especially for TQS by internationally-known Australian designer Lynette Anderson. Lynette combines simple, unpretentious folk art style appliqué motifs with patchwork blocks for a quilt that will be lots of fun to make. Each month we will provide photos, detailed directions for a portion of the quilt, and full-size patterns. We will once again be offering monthly companion teaching videos as well. It all makes for a year of fun and learning!
This just gets better and better, Wendy! You mention the cockerel and how you think maybe he is too dark - I love the intensity of his coloring. He is, after all, king of all he surveys, right?
I hope you are planning to enter this in shows when you are done. I suspect it will walk away with prizes!

I'm catching up and no more of those pesky hexagons after this just another row of tiny squares to finish off April.
I may have to redo the cockerel he's a bit dark. I do a lot of reversing the smaller flowers were redone. I cheated and it's mostly raw edge except the hexagons. I just couldn't face all those stems in needleturn.
Do you have stiles over the pond?

Just watched Linnette Anderson's video for month 5. I am wishing all you 1/2 size folks lots of luck with those minuscule fox legs. The fox running away with the hen on it's back is absolutely perfect for you, Wendy. How cute! I wish you all well.

Wendy, I think it looks as if it will be a winner. I think it's great. Separately they are wonderful but they are even better together. I was thinking that would happen and I was right. Keep up the good work.
