Join us on a TQS exclusive 12-month journey into the land of childhood memory with a charming quilt designed especially for TQS by internationally-known Australian designer Lynette Anderson. Lynette combines simple, unpretentious folk art style appliqué motifs with patchwork blocks for a quilt that will be lots of fun to make. Each month we will provide photos, detailed directions for a portion of the quilt, and full-size patterns. We will once again be offering monthly companion teaching videos as well. It all makes for a year of fun and learning!

This one will go to my grand niece who has the same birthday as me in December so Christmas colours seemed appropriate. Yes Wendy they are sparkly Trees. I don't have time at the moment to be inventive so just sticking with the pattern as is. Thanks for the kind comments.

I think it's the relationship between the yellow ocher and that gorgeous aqua background. You wanted to see how I am doing Wendy - here it is. My sheep are so white on the snowy lawn that you can't seem them

Only joking, I haven't done them yet. I have used sequins for the trees but plan to undo that before quilting it, I just couldn't stand the look of the trunks on their own because they looked like cacti. Fox and hen don't have their details yet. Still lots to do. This is not half-size BTW so I should probably have posted it somewhere else sorry.
